Not exactly VIP, as VIP depicts some other meaning. I will keep it simple by making it ‘The Most Important Person’.

Definitely it is my wife. Most of my family members differ. They try to compare it by saying how you can not say your parents. They fail to understand the dynamics of life and situation.

The bigger question is why do I credit her with this ‘Most Important’ status?

Because she has seen life. She knows the dynamics. She knows the recipe of success. Above all she knows how to live a peaceful and happy life.

Simplicity. I learnt simplicity is the key to a peaceful life. Also without it you cannot lead a peaceful life. There are a lot of synonyms for this like frugality, miser, etc etc. But eventually it boils down to keeping everything simple.

Living under means. This lesson was hard to learn. Now I have mastered this concept. And it has reaped a huge benefit. There were days when I had to borrow money from friends and colleagues as the month cycle ended. But now I do not have to as I have planned my finances well. There is enough room to keep the buffer for unseen expenses.

Debt free. This is yet to be mastered. I am trying my best to push and achieve debt free status. I am on my way. I will do it pretty soon.

I think these are simple formulas. But it really takes discipline to follow and implement. It is hard to follow in this age of social media and show off.
