Per Dictionary, there are two meanings of Undo, 1. unfasten, untie, or loosen and 2. Cancel or reverse the effects or results (a previous action or measure)

Having said that, I am here to discuss something else and not the literal meaning of this word. However, it is in the context of second meaning which is reversing the result or outcome.

Let’s dig in.

If I happen to un-invent one thing from today’s world that would be the smartphone. Do not judge me as an anti technology guy. I love technology, I love to talk about it and I think about what life would have been without it today.

But particularly the smartphone revolution has done more bad than good. The widespread use. Its life changing implications are simply beyond comparison.

However, it’s misuse is what is actually concerning. I know without it life is not imaginable. It has simplified life for many people. It has added productivity to many people.

So those who know how to use it are blessed to have it. Those who just consume whatever content it produces are becoming slave to it. It is doing more harm than good.

I know a smartphone alone is nothing. Without the internet the usage will fall drastically. So we should not blame it alone.

Unmindful usage of smartphones has a toll in our life. Many medical issues are arising now. The list is endless.

On the contrary, the internet has more upsides than downsides. I can see the smartphone can be used in a more simplistic way.

The usage can be monitored and controlled. Plus there are many things that can be done using other devices like personal computers.

The misuse can be controlled by being mindful. Also the mindless consumption should be controlled.
