Couples who are odd go a long way in relationships. Science has also proved this to be true.

The simple logic is because they complement each other in terms of the skills they lack, good habits, etc. In my case, my wife is more cautious when it comes to maintaining the home.

But when it comes to budgeting and spending, I take a lead. So that way we complement each other. One of such instances we can take is the messy house. Since we have a kid, mess is an inevitable part.

If it is not taken care of on time, my wife starts getting anxious. If the kid continues to expand the mess, my wife’s lid flips.

Unless the entire space is cleaned and stacked she cannot lie on the bed. She wants everything to go to their designated space. The soiled laundry off to the washing machine. Soiled utensils to the sink.

When we were married, I thought she was a cleaning freak. But slowly I understood how important it is to be careful regarding cleanliness for better hygiene and disease free life.

And then the pandemic broke down. It taught the entire world a lesson about cleanliness and sanitation. She stood winner with all the flying colors.

The good part was, since we were already in a habit of excess cleaning it did not hurt us both in terms of money and action.

It was a life saver as we did not get infected due to this particular habit.
