Until yesterday I did not know we all need Mentor if we want to do better in life. In reality I never had one. Even today I do not have one. Sometimes I feel I should look for it but again I realize maybe time has not come.

So far my knowledge about finding a mentor is that at least I should have some direction. I should be invested in it. Lately I have hard wired my brain to remember my life goals. Lead a meaningful and purposeful life.

Now there are certain things that I want to discuss. I want to bring some clarity to it. Hence, it is the time now I should look for one. Until the time I do not find one, I have made books my Mentor.

I read and try to find my answers there. Also googling has helped a lot. But to bring peace to the mind I prefer reading.

Simultaneously I am looking for a mentor too. I have not created an SOP or a checklist about the requisition or the quality that a mentor should have. I will create one shortly.

I wished though my mentor should be like Ryan Holiday whom I admire a lot. I idolize him. I read whatever he says through his social channels, blogs and newsletters. I try to pick his books as well.

His entire book list is in my reading bucket list. He teaches about life. Talks about death which is inevitable. This helps us maintain the checks and balances in everyday life. This is totally inspiring.

Until I meet him in person, I think I should let his books guide me as a Mentor.
