Do you really lack motivation?
I often come across people who, according to me and some other dumb fellas, have achieved stability in their live through constant efforts.
I ask them what the secret behind their success. They usually laugh me out stating “it’s a secret”.
Though I don’t care about the success they have in terms of material or social positions but the thing for which I’m always curious, what is the force that drives them to put in constant efforts? What is the secret of their inner strength?
After pondering over such questions, I came to realize that it’s not the achievement that drives a person but instead it is the sense of satisfaction that is generated from the achievement which is the main propeller and all the rest works as the different component to serve the very same objective.
The urge for satisfaction is staying highly motivated. It could be ‘internal’ or ‘external’ depending upon the scope and mode of inception.
External motivation is something which is acquired from some other impressing personality and at times it requires revamping at regular intervals.
While internal motivation is something which exists within the motivated person and need not any revamp but just realization i.e. realization of self.
It is regarded that internal form of motivation is of superior as it don’t require an external engine to drive the train of one’s purposes. The persons who have successfully achieved the place they aimed for are largely driven by internal motivation and less promptly through external motivation.
An incentive is another form of external motivation that yields high returns in terms of employee’s productivity. In a client based business model it is imperative for mutual benefit. It serves the purpose of economic motivation. When it is combined with other modes, it serves wonders as it is the case with Apple gadgets. The motivation behind them is economic as well as psychoanalytic quenched by achieving fame for which most beings do aspire.
