I was not a fan of lists until I started writing content. List gives the content a shape. Not only that it adds brevity. It makes content pieces snackable.

Knowingly or unknowingly we end up making a lot of lists by the way. Grocery list, laundry list, errands list, tasks list, etc so on and so forth.

Lately I have realized lists have simplified my life. Personally, everyday I create a lot of lists to get things done. To remember them. Actions to take in particular order.

Further, technology has enabled me to make this task easier. However, the one in pen paper works best. Other lists I create using Google’s keep.

My daily actionable list is created on paper. Today I am going to create one list here. It is about my steps or actions I should take to make my life purposeful and gain freedom.

1. Physical exercise – Definition is “Physical exercise is the performance of some activity in order to develop or maintain physical fitness and overall health.” Going by this literal meaning, I do some physical exercise just to stay healthy and avoid diseases.

2. Mental exercise – Experts say, you need to take care of your body to take care of your mind. Also there are many mind bending exercises to keep your metal level in check. One of them is reading. Hence, I  try to read physical books. Why I said I try is because at this point of time I am unable to dedicate a fixed time to reading. I know it is not good for my career. I will certainly build a regular reading habit.

3. Working on passion projects – I work on my passion projects. These projects are inclined towards bringing freedom for me. They have been designed based on my interest. They are inline with the skills I have. This is super important for me. I will have to make it happen within this year. I know I will make it happen.

So not exactly a list. But these three items are what my day revolves around. I try to stick to these areas. I try only to do these things. No distractions. No shiny object syndrome.
