Changing one’s view is very hard. Because our brain is so hard wired to things that it becomes really hard to change the way we see things.
For me it happened back in 2015 when I was stuck life and career was not going anywhere. The unhappiness crept inside. Sense of purpose was dying slowly.
I looked for help but did not find one. Then one day I stumbled upon an online article. It was like a ray of light at the end of the tunnel. I followed it.
Then one after another dots got connected. I started devouring those articles in a bunch and kept reading for hours.
It really opened my eyes. It gave me perspective. It showed me the way. I started analyzing everything. Within a span of one year, I completely changed the way I used to think.
It also changed the way I used to perceive things. A lot of learning had to be unlearned. Certain patterns and behavior was dropped and adopted.
I did 180 degrees of my views about the world. During the process the best things happened. Almost all the articles and pieces talked about mental health and physical health.
For mental health, reading was advised. I have created a reading list too. And started the reading habit that I had stopped a long time back.
Similarly for physical health, some form of mobility and functional exercises were recommended. For that too I created a website namely USR Fitness, which is a work under progress.
